Sometimes

Sometimes a perfect night is simply:

2 blonde babies;

1 six

1 two;

Spaghetti for dinner

(No sauce, just butter and cheese)

Followed by

Popcorn and a movie.

Piper colors pictures

Jack laughs his no-holds-barred baby laugh

And dips his sippy-cup into the popcorn bowl.

Soon it will be

Story time

Bed time

Time to decompress

Get lost in words

And daydreams

Then cool sheets

Sleep.
